Silagen® 100% Pure Silicone Gel was developed by doctors for use in clinics and hospitals. It is made with the highest quality medical grade silicone. Clinical studies have proven the effectiveness of silicone gel in the prevention and treatment of scars, and it is recommended by scar experts as the preferred first-line treatment.

This clear, fast drying gel will help flatten, soften and smooth scars while reducing redness, discoloration, itching and pain. It creates a protective barrier, which increases hydration and provides the optimal environment to normalize collagen production. Use Silagen® Gel after your surgical wound has closed completely; it may help to prevent the formation of hypertrophic scars and keloids.

Silagen® 100% Pure Silicone Gel can be used exclusively for the full course of treatment or alternated with other products in the Silagen® Scar Refinement System. For scars in areas exposed to the sun we recommend Silagen® Silicone Gel + SPF 30.

- Use Instructions

1. Wash and dry affected area.
2. Apply a very small amount of Silagen® 100% Pure Silicone Gel to scar and gently massage.
3. Allow to dry.
4. Use Silagen for 3 months on new scars; older scars may take up to 6 months.
5. Do not use Silagen® 100% Pure Silicone Gel under Silagen® Silicone Gel Sheeting or it will cause the Sheeting to lose adhesiveness.
6. Use one product during the day and alternate with the other at night if desired.
