Sheet should extend at least ½ inch (1cm) beyond the area being treated.\n      \u003c\/li\u003e\n\n      \u003cli\u003e\n        Ensure scar area is clean and dry, as well as free from creams, lotions, ointments and powders.\n      \u003c\/li\u003e\n\n      \u003cli\u003e\n        Peel off the backing and apply over scar with adhesive side down.\n      \u003c\/li\u003e\n\n      \u003cli\u003e\n        Wear daily for 10-16 hours. Remove once daily to allow site to be washed and dried.\n      \u003c\/li\u003e\n\n      \u003cli\u003e\n        For best results use daily for 3 months on new scars, 6 months on older scars.\n      \u003c\/li\u003e\n\n      \u003cli\u003e\n        Wash at least every 5 days or if the gel sheet becomes dirty or loses adhesiveness, wash gently with water and mild soap.
